Police in Madagascar reported that a 19-year-old British student how was traveling, for no apparent reason, unbuckled her seat belt, opened the plane door and tried to get out. One young man tried to hold on to her and keep her in the plane but she struggled free and fell to her death – her body has not be found. The young student from Cambridge University in the natural sciences department, reported as Alana Cutland fell from a Cessna C168 on the island nation off the eastern African coast on July 25. Police are now investigating what caused the incident. Her family said in a statement that she grasped every opportunity that was offered to her with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure and that she was in Madagascar on a research trip.
