Nuclear Weapons – The Future of Saudi Arabia

Nuclear Weapons - The Future of Saudi Arabia

The US is now allowing its nuclear technology to move to Saudi Arabia. US Energy Secretary Rick Perry has approved six secret authorizations by companies to sell nuclear power technology and brand assistance to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This article as sourced by Reuters.

The US deal secretly put together by the Trump Administration will allow transfer of technology that includes the US building two nuclear power plants in Saudi Arabia. But South Korea and Russia are in competition with the US for this mega-deal. The US approvals known as Part 810 authorizations will allow companies to do preliminary work for these new projects – Nuclear Plants.

The Saudi Crown Prince has made it clear the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will proceed to build out its nuclear technology capabilities to mirror the Islamic Republic of Iran as it builds out a nuclear weapons program. Rep. Brad Sherman, a Democrat, called on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during a congressional hearing on Wednesday to release names of the US firms that will be allowed to participate in the Saudi project.

Clearly this project is bringing Democrats and Republicans to the table to discuss the US` future intentions on projects in the Middle East that include the nuclear plants in Saudi Arabia. Sen Marco Rubio, a Republican has joined forces with Bob Menendez , a Democrat, to probe the administration regarding details on the talks with the Saudi regime. More on this topic later.
