Police have now reported that a missing persons investigation has turned into a “death investigation” as the search for Nicholas Diemel, 35 and his brother, 24-year-old, Justin Diemel, who own a livestock company in Bonduel, Wisconsin went missing under mysterious circumstances. The owner of a Missouri farm in which the brothers visited to complete a deal over cattle on the day they disappeared, is now a suspect and in custody. A friend named Rob Cupp, said that the brothers were good people and that specifically were “some of the best people I have ever met.”
The sheriff said, according to an article sourced from ABC News, attributed to Bill Hutchinson, that the brothers had been working a deal for months and that they failed to show up for flight to return home to Wisconsin. Police found human remains on the farm in Missouri and said that a truck rented by the brothers was seen on surveillance cameras abandoned in a commuter parking lot in Holt, a town near the farm. Garland Nelson, 25, was arrested on Friday after telling investigators he drove the truck to the final location.
