This weekend, 14 of the 24 Democratic candidates gathered in California for a convention and they were talking about immigration, gun control and LGBTQ rights as Mr Biden declared Saturday that the Equality Act would be his top legislative priority, and effort to put the LGBTQ protections into all the US labor and rights laws. This of course is part of a move to ensure that rights for all Americans are protected. And with next month being Pride Month, the former US Vice President hopes to sign the legislation as part of the key note address.
Our view? Well we think that the general population should work with all people of all races and ethnic groups. Befriend LBGTQ rights leaders and have conversations with all Americans. The issue in the US is not lack of laws for LBGTQ but lack of communication. Reach out and show respect and talk to people, most problems will be solved.
