Hong Kong Police Seize Explosives

Elderly Drivers and Auto Fatalities in Japan, Our Views

The ongoing street battles between the Hong Kong police and the local citizens has continued for months and the most recent news is that of police bomb squads have been called in to do their work. In July the police seizure of 2.0 kilograms of explosives (4.4 lbs), shook the market as many protesters are well educated and able to coordinate attacks. Police speculate that the so-called bombs are likely to be prepared in a way to disrupt in small explosions, not large ones to take down a building. The bomb experts aren suggesting that the protesters are overextending their peaceful protests while the protesters are now saying that the police are abusing citizens when captured. Local experts who study the top police forces in Asia, are now saying that they are shocked by the lack of trust between the police and the local citizens – once being a great relationship but now fading fast.
