A Florida man is now in trouble with the law as he was captured, or stopped while driving a golf cart in the store, taking aim at shoppers in the fruit and vegetable section according to deputies. He blasted through the Walmart Supercenter on Thursday and did bump into a few customers as they left the store – you can see evidence on Youtube – then put the peddle to the metal and took aim at shoppers. The Hillsborough County Sheriff`s Office reported to Fox 13 that deputies received reports around 12:30 pm of disorderly conduct from a man who was blocking entry to a liquor store.
He demanded to speak to management and was refused and this triggered him, at which point he went on a shopping attack into Walmart. Mr Hudson, the man in question, was arrested and transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he received medical attention, Fox 13 reported. This incident did cause some police to raise their arms – guns – as the nation is on edge after the recent shootings in the US. Also, four days before this golf cart rampage in Tampa, an armed gunman walked into Walmart with a long-rifle to test the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution. After hitting and brushing some shoppers, Hudson now faces multiple counts of aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, trespassing, resisting arrest, and felony criminal mischief.
Our Views: Despite the incident bring laughter to viewers, on a second look the golf cart is a dangerous weapon and someone could have died. Also, given the attacks in public police are ready to stop any disturbance in its tracks. Mr Hudson should get mental health care and spend some time away from the public where he would be less dangerous.
