The team at Facebook is doing its homework and this is clear by the acquisitions of games, VR and music – they are buying up companies. “Beat Saber” is one of the most impressive and popular VR games that has caught the public attention. Beat Games will join the Oculus Studio but will be run out of Prague. The company will continue to support Beat Games across all platforms that are game related. Facebook did not disclose the size of the deal. According to names within the firm, “this is just the beginning” as they are exploring ways to accelerate and expand the VR ecosystem. In September, Facebook announced that it had acquired CTRL-Labs, a startup that focuses on brain computing technology. Facebook hinted that it will acquire more video games studios in 2020.
